Project Scoping and Charter Development

In this workshop, the SCI team will work with project leaders and staff to scope a process to initiate or update a long-term urban sustainability plan and implementation strategy. Core outcomes of the workshop include:

• First draft of a project charter
• Baseline assessment of current sustainability plans and processes
• Clear objectives and strategy to guide development of a sustainability vision and its translation into practice
• A stakeholder needs assessment
• Understanding of approaches and tools for growth management scenario development
• Assessment of training needs required to build capacity of the organization and its people

This workshop is intended for municipal authorities or decentralized organizations that are in charge/responsible for long term planning at the municipal level.
